Working with industry partners not only gives you the opportunity to access some of the country’s top research institutions, but also innovative industrial research and development from all aspects of the nuclear field.
As part of your PhD, you’ll take part in the Graduate Development Training Programme, which is designed to provide you with opportunities to develop as professional researchers by developing key skills and attributes needed to effectively manage your research, and to prepare and plan for the next stages of your career.
The majority of our students not only will have an experienced academic supervisory team, but also co-supervision from an industrial partner, whom can often provide unique guidance into the practical application of their research within a real world setting.
